Garden Soils is a new garden supplies brand, kicking things off with its first soil conditioning compost. I created the identity, packaging and a slightly grubby cast of characters to give the brand some personality in a category that can be pretty beige.

The idea is simple: every product gets its own character. Compost has its soil-loving lump, while future products like wood chip, enriched soils and whatever else gets dug up will introduce new faces to the family.

Bold, recognisable and built to grow. No flowery gardening bollocks required.
